NOTE: The inclusion of an individual's name in a website or a document related to the Sacramento HIV Health Services Planning Council does not indicate the HIV status of that individual.
The HIV Health Services Planning Council is always interested in meeting interested individuals who want to work to improve the quality of lives of people living with HIV/AIDS in the Sacramento Transitional Grant Area (TGA). If you, or someone you know would like to get involved in setting priorities, planning services and allocating federal funding, please use the contact page to request an application or download the file below.
Members of the HIV Health Services Planning Council are volunteers from the three counties that make up the Sacramento TGA (El Dorado, Placer, and Sacramento Counties). The Planning Council has created a Member Reimbursement policy to ensure that costs associated with participation on the Planning Council (such as travel, childcare, etc.) will not become a barrier to participation and advocacy. Also, the Planning Council has, in compliance with the Ryan White CARE Act, created a grievance policy for members and the general public should the need ever arise.
We are actively seeking participants to fill the following mandated seats:
Hospital planning agencies or other healthcare planning agencies
Non-Elected Community Leaders
Substance Abuse Provider
Mental Health Provider
